Because many clothing manufacturers have relocated overseas for cheaper labour costs, the clothing manufacturing industry in Japan is in decline.
However, clothing manufacturers in Japan draw attention from all over the world because of our 'Made in Japan' quality, especially in Japanese denim products. In order to revitalize the industry and pass down our skills & techniques to the next generation, we strive to deliver high standard products assuring the 'Made in Japan' quality to many people around the world.

IYO Apparel was founded in 1973, a small factory with a few sewing machines in the country-side of Ehime, Japan, a region famous for it’s mandarines and oranges.
We specialized in denim and chino products and for more than 40 years we have built our reputation and gained the trust of our clients by consistently delivering the highest quality merchandise. We are now capable of producing a wide range of clothing products including thin fabrics.
